Called Amy at Yamana today (Greg's busy moving to Toronto). The drilling started at Bacon on Friday. From past results, we might expect to see some results in about 6 weeks. That would take us to October 30th, but let's say beginning of November to be conservative. Drilling should commence shortly at Lejano.

We chatted briefly about Greg's departure from this thread. Apparently this stemmed from recent recommendations by the TSE about disseminating information. They recommend that all new information be issued only by press release, and not on one-to-one conversations with preferred analysts. I'm sure there are other reasons with respect to the Internet, including the possibility of people impersonating others (ie I could send you an e-mail addressed from gwtaylor@yamana.com and there would be no way that you would know that it was from me).

It's good to see the drilling start on time. They have planned 1500m DD on Bacon, a second DD unit will start at Lejano by the end of September to drill 2100m. Plans are for one RC unit to drill 800m at Lejano, then 1500m at Ciclon West before doing 2200m at Lejano, and finally returning to Bacon for 1500m by mid November. Hopefully they will progress quickly.
