<< Right wingers are in retreat. >> I've received emails from people that were watching the tapes this morning. Without exception they thought Clinton came across poorly and was obviously being evasive. The most common example was when Clinton said that he never "caused" the contact, because caused meant "forced", since the case was related to sexual harassment. The next most common comment was that Clinton never really answered questions that asked what he thought words or phrases meant. He would always answer that "most people think"...... No one commented on the questioners, so I have nothing to pass on there. If you look at the postings on this board, people who like Clinton think he did great, and people who don't like Clinton think he sucked. It's till too early to see what the great middle thinks.
