You should note that you posted the "replacement market question"

but at some point the
business becomes a "replacement" market business
and the stocks will be priced accordingly...ie
1-2 times revenues and under 10x earnings...

on the DELL thread and received a response from another poster.

but the key point is when some point is.

I would say its when games companies stop making games that require more and more processing power and enhanced graphics compared to previous versions.
I would say its when when application software companies stop making software that eats more and more CPU and disc space.
I would say its when databases can no longer store more and more detailed data because there is no more to store.
I would say its when databases stop storing more and more complex data and require increased processing power to manipulate it.
I would say its when when people stop inventing new technologies that replace old ones such as DVD and full screen video and and and.
I would say its when speech recognition, AI, intelligent agents are commonplace and can't be improved any more.

It leaves the appearance that the post you posted on this thread is originally yours. Its always right and polite to note your sources.

As I responded on the DELL thread, all of the above responses appear to be instances of someone or some company REPLACING an older box for a newer box.
