One of NeXT's strengths as a cross-platform OS is the ease by which applications can be written for it. To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing to preclude the Be operating system from running underneath a NeXT/MacOs 7.x user interface. Both Apple and Be realize the importance of avoiding an internecine conflict, I'm sure models of "coopetition" can be developed. soup
