I am not sure the President's has committed impeachable offenses on the Monica case, it will be up to the Congress to decide whether lying under oath is an impeachable offense. However, I do think the President should resign and spare the nation from going thru the process and prolonging the pain that this Nation is going thru. I don't think censure is a good solution either simply on the fact it is just a slap on a wrist and will not send a good message to anyone consider lying under oath. It is also illegal because the Constitution has no provision for a censure. What this President has done is sending to the public the following messages:

1. If you're clever and evasive enough, you can lie under oath.
2. With the Presidential credibility and power, you can look poeple in the eyes and lie to them and have them lied for you without questioning your truthfulness.
3. You can use Presidential privileges to delay the investigations and evade questionings.

Do we really want these messages continued being sent to people all over the world by prolonging the impeachment process. If BC has any decency and courage, he should resign and spare us the pain.

The impeachment process will proceed on the simple fact that there has to be a trial of some sort to settle the matter. Censure is unconstitutional and should not be considered unless we amend the Constitution. I am almost 100% sure that an impeachment process will go on at this point. The logical steps to avoid a Constitutional crisis and more pain on the American people is let BC resign. People think that he won't resign but I believe if more and more people are calling his resignation, he will eventually comply. Just like he eventually confessed to the relation with Monica Lewinsky.
