Yes, I know. (Actually it was complete immunity on these facts, not just transactional.) That does lend support to her credibility. But a lot of other things erode it. And it is certainly possible to understand a motive for Lewinky to state, or even have convinced herself, that more happened for her benefit than really did. She was rather desperately pursuing him, remember. She got quite mad when the White House first starting putting out the spin that it was only one way sex, after the Jones deposition details were leaked out. Very possibly because she thought it made her look bad. Doug
