I have heard rumours of the use of a Peltier junction development project at Motorola to do the cooling.
To fully exploit 500 MHz, whether from motorola or exponential, will need a faster bus. The 300 MHz 603e systems that power computing will be demonstrating in January and selling in a few months for about $2500, to be followed shortly by Apple and others, could be a big hit.
