Joe, lighten up. the man was trapped by Starr and the Lewinsky tapes and while he was trying not to lie he was he said deliberately trying not to be helpful to his political enemies. That's understandable. So he lied. Let's dont say this is perjury. Let's dont try to over tun an election. Here's why-- if we do this, we take a big step down ther road toward turning this counttry from a consitutional democcracy into a banana republic. The next president and the next after him will be impeached if the opposition has the will to do it. whe are in danger of having a fourth, unelected branch of government, the office of the special prosecutor, empowered with ther right to badger and indict a president . At the very least this changes the balance of powers of our government and moves it towards the model of Iran, where the repesentaties in congress serve at the pleasure of the mullahs, who oversee morality. What do you say to that? jhg
