Media hype du jour I really dont want to put any of the Clinton rehash, but I did have one observation. Who is surprised by any of it? As far as I can tell, no one was defending him that wasn't politically attached/indebted. Everything about his extramarital affairs and chauvanistic personality has been known for decades. That he lied (big surprise for a politician to do that, eh!) That he weaseld out of answering in the original depostions? (I always thought the question should have been, "Did you put any part of your anatomy in her anatomy, or vice versa?" - Wouldn't that cover it?) I suppose there are some naive souls out there who get all their information from television, or their radio talk show host. But really, where is the news? Politicians posturing for coverage (uh, no pun intended...)? Nope, the man's a scumbag. The economy was okay and now its iffy. He didn't do any more for the former than he did the latter. Clinton isn't going to resgn and Congress isn't going to impeach him. Becasue if he/they did, the market would correct down huge for one reason alone.... President Gore. lastshadow
