I don't think U.S. corporations will be impacted as negatively as everyone seems to think. Earnings estimates have already been cut, and I think that a lot of the international turmoil has already been priced into the market. I also think that much speculative excess has been wrung out (check out KO's collapse from 90 to 60 and the rock bottom prices for many of the most speculative stocks - the micro caps and small caps).

I don't believe we are slipping into recession, and I certainly don't believe the world is coming to an end. In fact, if you consider that Japan probably won't revert to the stone age, it is probably a great time to start slowly accumulating Japanese stocks (even some banks!)

The market is going higher.
