Brazil: Novell shows good performance

The Brazilian subsidiary of Novell showed an income of US$6.3mil in
the quarterly period ending July 1998, compared with US$4.51mil
posted in the previous period. Prospects are to an annual turnover of
US$22mil in the current period, compared with US$23mil showed in 1997.
Novell is introducing new software in the market such as Netware 5,
and a new generation of the Novell Directory Services.
