ratan, on the ABC News web site, Lawrence Walsh just gave an online interactive interview, and he was asked about distributing the Reagan video. He denied doing it, and said that Poindexter's attorneys released the video. Why am I not surprised that he would pass the buck and absolve himself of responsibility for his creation? He has a role model in the highest reaches of government who has mastered that art.
And why is Kenneth Starr blamed for the release of the video, when it was Congress that released it?
And why is it, after fighting tooth and nail against release of the video, that Clinton's supporters are now saying that release of the video has "helped him".
Methinks that the WH has once again deftly manipulated public opinion like playing a fine piano, with their vehement opposition to release of the "destructive to Clinton" video, when they knew all along that there was not much at all new in there, and the most damning bits (there are some, IMO) had already been leaked to the press. |
