Dale--I have been trying to come up with a price per ton of titanium.
I don't believe there is a single price. The sites I hit listed a number of grades and alloys.
I don't see how the jig could be a one step process however. Titanium is a difficult metal to extract. It bonds with everything when heated and would have to be purified. One of the final stages is to literally settle it out in a stainless steel tank then remove it with a jackhammer.
I would like to know how much they can churn out. This is not gold where a couple of ounces a ton and you are a millionaire. You need to generate tons and a lot of them to be commercially viable.
