Taichi, you did not understand my posting. I'll type it slowly:

Business Week had an article. Article said all the key QCOM patents had been left out from the current W-CDMA proposal.

QCOM's other position on the ETSI standard is also somewhat weak: Europe should not be allowed to accept a standard that QCOM does not do since it would constitute a trade barrier.

Some royalties can be expected but only AFTER some QCOM stuff has been weaved into the standard.

So there's no stealing by devious European pinko sissies,
