Hardware/Software

End of day quote data from Dial Data ($25/month)

Real Time quotes from PCQuote's MarketSmart Real-Time (Exchange Fees only, (about $16/mo)

Technical Analysis done on a 200 MHz Macintosh Powerbook using Beesoft's ProTA ($150)

The Neural Nets I posted screenshots of were from Ward System's Group NeuroShell Trader ($800)

I run the latter on a 400 MHz Pentium II

I have trading accounts with E*Trade, eSchwab and Ameritrade and two offline brokerage accounts.

I also have a 300MHz Mac for graphics work and backup to the powerbook, a 200 Mhz Pentium hooked to the cable modem downstairs that I use as a Proxy Server and a 16 processor Pentium (at work) that I run the other net on. However, I haven't made any trades based on that since about July. I was able to import just about every method into Ward's product. I also have three other computers, but they aren;t used for this stuff.

I don't use Level II.

I get 100% of my Fundamental data online, as well as just about all the news from either my brokerage services or free online sources.

I do get several online news and alert feeds, but I don't pay for any of them.

I no longer subscribe to WSJ, IBD or any periodical.
