Kid, For someone who insists they know a lot by reading books you sure show your lack of knowledge of the real world. Live in your textbooks-- I live in the real world. And I have found those who say things about age are usually talking about themselves. So, I bet you are the wannabe youngster. I am 35 and have been investing and trading for 13 years. I cut my teeth on bonds in the mid 80's and made a killing. Then I played GOLD STOCKS for 7 years. During that time I was a real estate developer, broker, and investor. I did over $9,000,000 on my own account. Then I was in the financing industry. You see and learn it ALL with GOLDS. I have proven our main argument-- that NON-US CITIZENS are the only investors allowed to LEGALLY short non-marginable stocks. Everyone else here has backed me up. I posted the laws/regs outlining my point-- you obviously have not read them because they say exactly what I have said in our original argument. It seems to me that you understand text book examples. But, it is obvious you do not understand the real world of offshore convertibles, Canadian shortsellers, and how small caps are financed. Plus, your account is obviously small or you would realize that a broker you have a good relationship with and a large account with will let you practically do anything you want. Like using the 3 day settement stradle to short stocks. And they will play WITH you. Commissions are secondary if they make the trade in their account too. Life is too short to argue with the likes of you. I have seen it for years. I won the original bet and you persist and have broken your side. Typical from a small timer. Bet all that happens to you is the fault of others. Good bye youngster. TS
