Sorry Tide - this is definitely a hoax. For one thing, Microsoft or AOL have never put out virus alerts.
The hoaxters like using big companies names to further their ends.
They like putting out these kinds of messages and asking everyone to warn everybody they know, consequently millions of emails are zipping around the country by well meaning people. They (the hoaxters) get a kick out of causing this
