Did S Jobs cave to MSFT , or were there secret deals ? Says so in Gate's bio-book . Amelio said he wanted more from MSFT ($450 mln ?) but it seems MSFT turned to an "old" AAPL friend : " There is some very interesting info about Apple and Steve Jobs in Chapter 16....Specifically, on page 240 it states that Steve Jobs was 'of great help' to Microsoft in helping Microsoft win the copyright infringement suit that Apple had brought against them. Apple lost the suit in February of 1995.... Also the deal where Apple got $250 million from Microsoft there was apparently a secret understanding between Jobs and Gates that Apple would not bring a massive patent infringement against Microsoft.
