Yes, it's the "Price" to buy the company outright,
thing to remember when using it tho is to include
or add the Long Term Debt to the market cap.

If your interested can recommend a book by
Kenneth L. Fisher called "Super Stocks". It's
a very good (excellent) read, and I owe a lot
to the book - it gets you out of the PE mode
of investing, which usually means young up
and coming companies - serious $ made.
