Amdocs, VocalTec to Offer Joint IP
Telephony Customer Service, Billing
Package

Amdocs , a telecommunications customer care
and billing solutions provider, and VocalTec, the
IP (Internet Protocol) communications company,
today announced a cooperation agreement. The
two companies new solution is designed to
support advanced, high-volume IP telephony
services for both major and emerging
telecommunications carriers, as well as leading
Internet service providers (ISPs).
Norman Rafalowitz, Amdocs' Senior Vice
President for International Marketing, noted: "IP
telephony is set to become a significant
component of the telecommunications market.
Amdocs' partnership with VocalTec addresses
this emerging market segment through the union
of two leading forces in their respective
industries: Amdocs in the area of customer care
and billing, and VocalTec in the area of IP
telephony communications software".
