Pal, I just responded to a similar question on the St. Jude thread some of which applies here.

If the company has good information and only shared it with "favored institutions and insiders" this would set the stage for another major fraud. I hope that's not happening. The price and lack of "knowledgable" buying indicates otherwise.

From what I've seen and learned on my short trip in (VSE)and other speculative stocks, the company and its promoter can't and don't want to suppress good news. In fact, if you study the news releases and compare their content to the actual (and probable) sequence of the exploration program, the company usually biases the release to the best result no matter where it came in the sequence. They may have technical problems but the drilling of holes is generally a routine thing.

It seems the explanation for this is simple human greed mixed with a modicum of excitement over the fact that the good news is designed to create liquidity and a selling opportunity for the insiders. This is not just an inefficient market it's an uneven one that's heavily in the hands of insiders.

From this that I have observed I think you have to conclude that the lack of news means that the results are negative and to speculate otherwise may not be prudent.

The results on this property are likely to reveal a narrow structurally controlled epithermal vein that is too narrow to be concerned about, but you can't prejudge a drill hole.

So the answer is probably that the results are sub-economic. The great deposit the company is forecasting may be a dream, a promoter's dream albeit.
