Program 43 (Cyber Branding) airs on non-commercial and public radio station affiliates in local markets from September 21 through 27. In this week's opening monologue, Host Kim Bayne comments that building Web site traffic on "the heels of a sleazy marketing campaign" doesn't do much to build a reputable online identity. DISTRIBUTION AND AVAILABILITY
Debuting on December 1, 1997, the program reaches over two million listeners per week in 30 markets. "The Cyber Media Show with Kim Bayne" is syndicated internationally, airing on traditional broadcast radio in several major US cities, including New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, Cincinnati, and Los Angeles, and broadcasting on one transmitter and three signal translators in New Zealand on the 92 FM Network. Additional affiliates are added on an ongoing basis.
Radio station program directors interested in reviewing "The Cyber Media Show with Kim Bayne" off-air for incorporation into their local program schedules may access the program through the Galaxy 3 (right) satellite, Transponder 15C. The feed airs on channel 74.6 and is monaural. "The Cyber Media Show with Kim Bayne" broadcasts each Friday at 11:00 AM Pacific Time (12:00 PM Mountain, 1:00 PM Central, 2:00 PM Eastern). The program is free to most stations, but each station must license the feed before air. Spaces are provided to stations for local sponsorship spots.
