Hi Tom, Unfortunately, that Pharmex site is incorrect. The company is called Pharmex Industries Inc. The symbol is PRXI on Canadian Over the Counter. I use WWW.CANADA-STOCKWATCH.COM to track the performance of the stock. It has a year high of 53 cents and a low of 12 cents. Its 100 day moving average is 39 cents, presently trading around 34 or 35 cents. Pharmex is the largest raw material manufacture of acetaminophen and acetaminophen, caffine, codine in Canada. That is the ingrediant which goes into Tylenol products, regular and extra strength and Tylenol # 1 They will still continue to grow their raw material business, but they are now getting into manufacturing the tablet for the private label business. Those stores are Shoppers Drug Mart (life brand), Hy and Zels, Pharma Plus, Pharma Save and Loblaws Canada. Shoppers Drug Mart has 12 hundred stores across Canada. It has 35 percent of the market. Tylenol has 50 percent. Its a fair market share for Pharmex to capture. Supposedly, the Shoppers and Hy and Zels deal is done. Nothing has been announced yet. This would bring 2 million in profit to Pharmex by year end 99 on 12 million in sales. They also have a facility in Romania where they use the brand name PHARMEX. They have 31 products in 1,300 pharmacies growing at a growth rate of 100 percent. The last facility is in Mexico which they signed their first contract 350,000 dollars US, in June. Well I am going to get some of the press releases that I have received and email them to you. If there are to many just trash them. |
