Hi Joe. In your opening post you mention the secrecy of DeBeers. I for one would never invest in this company for that exact reason. They have vaults and vaults of diamonds and are forced to buy up all the diamonds that are mined in order to control the price. How would anyone know what the inventories really are as they are so secretive and IMO corrupt? One of the best documentaries I have ever seen was on this very subject a couple of years ago on PBS. I have also read the book "the Rise and Fall of Diamonds". It certainly sheds a new light on diamonds and DeBeers....and not a very favorable one. Lonnie.
