Hello Marshall W. From one who pretends to be a farmer in my spare time (my real job supports our full time hobby of attempting that worthy profession.) We are considerably further north of you with a much shorter growing season. While although a part time farmer, unlike you who engages in farming full time, we can both enjoy a special growing season provided by the Lord as shown in the good word you provided.
