Rob,
I would not be able to recommend it to anyone operating in this area of the country for probably 12 months from what i was told today, this is the basis for their compensation package, which i might add i did not ask for, it was offered. The refund will be shown as a credit and will basically give me free service for the next 6 months.YIPPPIE !!!
I just knew i would find that extra 50 bucks a month for my new truck payment <G>
I decided to continue the service in hopes of everything coming together somewhere during that period i mentioned above. The radio feature is what we will be useing, the phones are just to far off now, but i would like to carry one device at some time as we all discussed yesterday. Personally i think for NXTL to be competitive in this area it will take them at least 12 months.
From what i was told AT &T has one heck of a coverage area in Reno/Lake tahoe area and will take sometime to even come close to playing on an even field.
My conversation included several admissions in plain english , of where the company is at, and where they are going, all in realistic terms IMO. It was confirmed that in the early days the sales staff may not have been able to communicate properly, just what the REAL TIME frames were for performance to improve.
The call was unexpected and welcome not just because of the money, IMO NXTL realizes just how important each customer is to them, and the proactive stance i was witness to today is a very encouraging sign, for both the service and the investment. IM still on the short side of this stock, but very anxious for the first sign of earnings to turn the position around.
