In first paragraph, please read ''...it expects earnings to meet Wall Street expectations for the fourthquarter, the full year and 1999...,'' instead of ''...it saw earnings coming below Wall Street expectations for the fourth quarter but meeting those for the year as well as the next...'' (corrects fourth-quarter forecast).
