Hutchinson Technology and Applied Kinetics Reach Preliminary Settlement Over Noncompete Agreements September 22, 1998 01:41 PM HUTCHINSON, Minn., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Hutchinson Technology Incorporated (HTCH) today announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with Applied Kinetics, Inc. to resolve their dispute over alleged violations of noncompete agreements which the employees of Applied Kinetics had previously entered into with Hutchinson Technology. Innovex, Inc. (INVX) has joined in the agreement to resolve the dispute. Upon completion of a final settlement agreement, Hutchinson Technology intends to dismiss all pending litigation against Applied Kinetics with respect to their dispute.
