I am so glad to hear your thinking on the matter. Our family was one of the founders of the local PCUSA church. We left the church in 1972 and started the local OPC, (as you know a pretty conservative bunch) because the local church had a minister who was extremely liberal. My family has since returned to the local PCUSA, because it has turned more conservative, but I have resisted due to the problems you just mentioned. Maybe if a PCA starts here locally, I'll give that a try, but with what is happening in the PCUSA...there are problems ahead.
