The Rise and Fall of Diamonds by Epstein was one of the
best books I have ever read. DeBeers funded the research of
this book, they possibly had regrets about that later.
Like the Chairman of DeBeers said, "Nothing can or will
render diamond obsolete". The very same is true for DeBeers.
It will be interesting to see how they deal with new product
coming out of Canada.
