ISP and Central Offices are some of the largest customers of the RBOC's in respect of data traffic. It was my understanding that these RBOC customers will be willing to change their 56k Modem/Modem cards/Net Server for a XDSL Access Multiplexer which is basically a Hub Concentrator with mux capabilities.

I was not aware that that DSLAM eqpt has to reside exclusively in a CO as pointed out by you.

Indeed a little knowledge can be dangerous.!
