To your question <when will 3g be introduced?>It will be finalized(standard)in December. There are already companies like NEC and Japanese telecom's that have started initial build up for 3g. Qcom's CDMA2000 should be ready within 18 months. I also will remind you that GSTRF will enable CDMA countries to roam into GSM areas and work. Therfore CDMA operators can sell world phones by the 3Q next year! 3G is here now. In two years GSM/TDMA will be what analog is today. That is obsolete!
