sounds good but seems like I have heard all this before and the price still reflects poor performance. Sure would like to see them get it right for a change.

Vidatron Announces Fiscal 1998 Year
End Review

VANCOUVER, Sept. 22 /CNW-PRN/ - Vidatron Entertainment Group Inc.

TSE SYMBOL: VE

Fiscal 1998 (completed August 31, 1998) was the second consecutive year of rapid expansion and
growth for Vidatron, resulting in record levels of television production. During the year, the
Company produced 26 episodes of one hour dramatic television programming, 26 half hours of
reality based programming, a television movie and numerous short form productions.

Cameron White, CEO of Vidatron, states:

''We are extremely proud of our accomplishments in fiscal 1998, and look forward to the release of
our financial results in approximately 60 days. In addition to the numbers we have generated, fiscal
1998's milestones have laid the groundwork for fiscal 1999, and beyond. Orders in place at year
end should see us achieve production levels during the first 2 quarters of fiscal 1999, which will rival
our numbers for all of 1998. These achievements are a tribute to our dedicated staff and production
crews who have consistently demonstrated a dedication to our vision and a commitment to quality.''

This year's highlights include:

Completion of the final ten episodes of a 22 episode first season of the urban western one
hour dramatic series Dead Man's Gun. Dead Man's Gun, was originally broadcast on
Showtime in the US and distributed internationally by Disney. Created by Ed and Howard
Spielman, the creators of the popular Kung Fu and The Young Riders series, Dead Man's
Gun is executive produced by Henry Winkler, and produced by Larry Sugar, President of
Vidatron's Sugar Entertainment, who describes the series as, ''an urban period western -- a
cross, as the New York Daily News said, between Gunsmoke and Twilight Zone.''
Renewal order for season 2 of Dead Man's Gun from Showtime. Following the renewal,
MGM was appointed as the international distributor, to replace Disney. Vidatron delivered 6
episodes of season 2 during the year and the balance of 16 will be delivered in the first 2
quarters of fiscal 1999.
Agreement signed with Pearson Television International and American Zoetrope to produce a
22 episode first season of the sci-fi one hour dramatic series First Wave. Created by Chris
Brancato (Species 2, X-Files, Outer Limits) and executive produced by Francis Ford
Coppola and Vidatron's Larry Sugar, First Wave fuses two classic television genres-science
fiction and the Fugitive story. Vidatron delivered 8 episodes during fiscal 1998 and will deliver
the balance of 14 in Q1 and Q2 of fiscal 1999.
Production of season 2 (26 one-half hour episodes) of Electric Playground, the news
magazine series profiling the interactive electronic game industry worldwide. As well as airing
nationally across Canada on Space: the Imagination Station, the series is currently airing in
additional markets throughout Canada and down the west coast of the United States. Plans
are underway for a US national launch in the fall of 1999.
Production of a pilot episode of So Weird, a half hour family show for the Disney Channel.
Picked up for an additional 12 episodes, So Weird, which is executive produced by Henry
Winkler is now in pre-production, with Vidatron's Sugar Entertainment providing production
services.
The purchase of a 55,000 square foot building adjacent to Vidatron's existing studio building.
Approximately 30,000 square feet of the building are leased out to third parties and the
balance houses production offices, set design, wardrobe, storage and a newly constructed
post production facility.
Production of a variety of award winning contract programs, television commercials, music
videos, and documentaries.
The strengthening of our balance sheet by a further equity injection of $5,000,000 from two
institutional investors.
Established a $10 million revolving term loan facility with the Royal Bank to financing its
growing production slate.
