Doug: One last time. There is no permissible perjury. The evidence is very credible that he did commit perjury and obstruction. Even if he did not commit perjury or obstruction, he affirmatively lied to the American people and needlessly prolonged at great expense the OIC investigation. He allowed a false affidavit to be entered into evidence, allowed his lawyer to present a false offer of proof to the Court and he repeatedly violated the Judge's order not to discuss the case or his testimony with anyone, the first time being with Betty Currie barely two hours after being personally admonished to keep his yap shut. Would you say disbarment is an impeachable offense? Probably not I'd guess. I'd say a disbarred lawyer is not fit to hold office.

Granted there may be some people who would argue that a serial adulterer is not fit to hold the office. I could care less who screws, sucks or otherwise manipulates him with an intent to arouse. I am not one of those who would impose an adultery litmus test as liberals imposed say an abortion litmus test on Bork, or a sexual litmus test on Thomas, Tower, etc. My "heat" comes from my disgust at the well documented actions of this President and the willingness of others such as yourself to place him above the law and to accord him treatment none of us would be afforded. Get over your right wing conspiracy theories and start being honest with yourself. Clinton must go! JLA
