TSE NOTICE / Barrington Petroleum TSE 300 COMPOSITE INDEX NOTICE TORONTO, Sept. 22 /CNW/ - Effective before the open on Thursday, September 24, 1998, the common shares of Barrington Petroleum Ltd. (BPL) will be removed from the TSE 300 Composite Index. It has been announced that Sunoma Energy Corp. has acquired 93% of Barrington's outstanding shares. Please note the following changes to the TSE 300 Composite Index before the open on Thursday, September 24, 1998: Stock to be added: Dorel Industries Inc. Cl. B. (DII.B) Group/Subgroup - 5.05 (Household Goods) Stock to be removed: Barrington Petroleum Ltd. (BPL) Group/Subgroup - 3.02 (Oil and Gas Producers) Note: Dorel Industries Inc. Cl. B. (DII.B) will also be added to and Barrington Petroleum Ltd. (BPL) will be removed from the TSE 200 Index effective before the open on Thursday, September 24, 1998.
