I feel the small caps are going to take the lead when the next bull leg up resumes. At this point I see the short term rally nearing its end across the board. I think by this time next week we will not be trading in or above the current areas on any index I track.

The nas has one more day to impress me. It must be strong tomorrow or its breakout of the downtrend is a false one. The S&P 500 had better stay above 1025.5 tomorrow or my technical target for it becomes 1004 tomorrow 1005.5 end of week.

The R2K has broken its downtrend and does not look to retest it because it was soooo step. IF it does retest its downtrend we are all gonna need some dramamine and a 6 pack of natures finest. Right now the R2K is ahead of the pack in its timing of bouncing off the bottom and breaking through downtrend resistance.

Keep in mind that this could all change in OCT. The dreaded OCT. I read on the ATPX thread yesterday something I did not know (and have not confirmed). New rules for mutual funds make them do their tax loss selling in OCT. Gee, how nice. Looks like the ultimate buying op is just a few weeks away. Perhaps we can celebrate in SA and talk of the great deals we swiped off the suckers who sold APCO.
