Medroogies, I believe Asia represents more than 7% of the world economy. A number I've seen in Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter writeup is around 30%. The slowdown in Asia is significant and we are seeing its impact on domestic earnings now IMO. *** I posted this before I read a little more and ran into a few later posts mentioning Japan.
