Joe, you're staying up too late and confusion has set in.
Clinton has been getting bad legal advice - he never should have let himself get "negotiated" into taping his appearance before the Grand Jury.
But, then again, he might have avoided the whole dismal affair in the first place by simply keeping his zipper closed.
Is that too much to ask? Gosh, I have to, you probably have to.
BTW, federal prosecutors have bosses, and there is that little matter of the law. If Bill (an attorney) and his attorney (Mr. Bennett) had a leg to stand on in regard to illegal prosecution, they would never have even had to let Bill testify, let alone respond. They lost every evidentiary challenge through the courts over the months of stalling, and didn't challenge the LAW - the attacked the people using it, which is only one tactic a barrister will use when they know they are losing ground.
I think your focusing on just one small (albeit noisy) part of a much larger swarm of controversy surrounding Mr. Clinton and his friends in the White House.
Let it play out, and when other lies are proven, you may have to rethink your loyalty, as have so many other Democrats.
