Yahoo! and AT&T hooked up. Good for another 15 points or so.

Why not? After all, in January it gapped up on the MCI news... wait... that was the high for the next month and a half and it actually declined for a couple weeks after the news.

But that's OK. We all know the bear market is over and the internuts are no free to run to the stars. Buy! Buy! Buy! Like a rocket!!! ... and all that ...

I guess it doesn't matter to anyone that they are now starting over from scratch - that's zero, zilch - on Yahoo Online. When the stock was at 1/3 the current price, they hyped a deal with MCI that is now dead. Now, people are exited that they are going to start over with no subscribers and a new partner on a service that will be available sometime next month. BTW, does anyone have any idea how many people they signed up on the MCI service? Was it a hit or a flop and if it was a hit, why would C&W back out? And if the new version actually turns out to be more than a failed marketing ploy, how much will it contribute to the bottom line next year and beyond?

Oops, I forgot - none of that matters 'cause this is an internut rocket. It'll go up simply because it has gone up so much already and everyone expects it to continue to do so. Yahooo!!!
