Scott, I disagree with your growth definition. People value growth companies on the basis that they are able to sustain this growth. To suggest that you examine 5 or 10 year data is absurd (IMHO). Most small growth companies haven't been around that long. The TV data came from the Nielsen ratings through July. CBS's ratings showed a 6% decline while ABC's and ESPN's ratings showed an 18% decline. I also disagree with your statement that you can't include the 50th anniversary in evaluating ACTN's business. It was a benefit to play off the potential increase in sales (which ACTN did) and it is a negative to come off a year where you had "one-time sales". Unless you want to pull out of the year to date results all 50th anniversary sales that the company benefitted from reporting as sales (then your numbers that you claim make it look "cheap" are overstated). Disapointment will be compounded next year because the those sales have to be replaced with new products. Dale Jr. appears to be a hit! Tokyo
