Allow me to share a little-known, but extremely effective competitive strategy that MSFT has used for the past 10 years. If they are losing the battle, they change the rules of the game. Look at past battles and you'll see what I mean. Lan Manager vs. Netware, IE vs. Navigator, and the list could go on. In this case <g>, MSN vs. AOL/YHOO was just the opening rounds of this 12 round fight. MSFT lost this round but that doesn't mean it's over. Not by a long shot.
