You have to understand that I was deeply involved with the Evangelicals for 6 years from '91 to '97 and was invited into their inner circles and events for the "believers" and I talked face to face with tables full of average Evangelicals. I asked them about the murder in Florida of the abortion doctor and his body guard or driver; the other guy killed. It was hard for me to find anyone in these groups that would condemn that murder. Most said that the doctor wouldn't have gotten killed if he hadn't been doing what he was doing. You don't think these groups are comfortable with violence; I can tell you they are. They are very Machevelian about their religion; ends justify the means. They even quote old testiment scripture to justify it; purge the community stuff. Then when you ask them about Jesus and his teachings, they quote Paul. The parables, the 4 gospels always are tossed out for some verse from the old testiment or Paul's letter. This is their theological bent. It is why I think they are anti-Christian. Check it out; join some of the big active groups in this theology. I had a guy at one table actually rejoice about someone that got executed for a crime saying, he got Biblical justice. He was laughing about this man's death.
