... Datek Exclusively ...

I am thinking similar things. I had an MBT app filled out and ready to print several times ... but the encouragement to overtrade and the high commissions held me back. Also, the Real Tick III setup was what I sought when I started trading, but now I've become accustomed to an assortment of independent components flying in close formation and have come to value the modularity.

The missing piece for me is Level II which has me considering MBT since the MBT charge is pretty much what I would pay for a serious LII setup independantly. The problem I've run into is that while I am largely satisfied with my BMI-Satellite/TradeStation charting I would like to add Level II without purchasing redundant charting. I'd be real curious about what you decide to do for LII if and/or when you choose to quit MBT.

(From experience, I don't expect new features from Datek until I have them --- regardless of the latest promise date.)

Cheers!

P.S. Hi thread! from a lurker.
