Mohan: Thanks for the link on DELL, ADSL modem, etc. OK, I understand that ADSL service costs more even though copper wire is the medium of data and voice transmission. Do you have any idea how much it costs to have ADSL service from a telephone company in the geographic locations it is made available? I assume that you connect to the internet via the modem and copper wire and at the same time make telephone calls on the same line. neat. JPR
