Bill, The net PC died already. The surplus ones have been sold or upped to low end PCs with added parts.
Apple has decided to be a small niche player, profitable, but small.
It can no longer play in the Wintel league. Recent benchmarks have shown that the Imac is not faster than P-II, or even Celeron 333 so they will gather their group and try to migrate them to keep them. Management is deadwood and blind to this, OR they have decided this is what they want.
