The trick is, the stuff have to be proprietary but everyone can't live without it. This is an added barrier to competition which give the gorilla an advantage. Ah, but this is rapidly changing. You no longer need the gorilla! You CAN live without it! You DO have choices! You can have a dozen monkeys that can communicate with each other! And, if one of those monkeys doesn't make you happy, you can switch to another monkey! Choice, choice, choice! The gorilla is not an option, unless you enjoy living in a cage! Antitrades!!
