Is this an assumption on your part?
Could it be that the low price of this PC is the reason?
IBM had a similar promo in the spring, bundling ViaVoice with much slower PC's.
BTW, VR works fine on my wife's P166. (Dragon Naturally Speaking).
I think it's also interesting that voice recognition software is bundled with segment-0 PC's.
Regarding the new AMD mobile chip, do you know if this is the same chip used in desk-top's, or has the chip been modified for mobile use?
