The world leaders understand that the US is key to the global economy and that how we do handling the problems is how well they will do with the mess currently occurring. Clinton has fought for the IMF funding and it is the Republican's that keep dragging on this against the advice of economists and I believe the Fed. That is why Clinton is getting praise. He is being looked to as someone that is responsible about trying to get the world mess staightened out. The world leaders all understand that this is the wrong time to be playing games with the leadership of the only world superpower. The Republican leadership; Newt particularly are irresponsible about this. The President is not like any average Joe. He isn't above the law, but he has a role and a position and a job; he isn't like anyone else in the country. It is a unique position in our society and you have to treat him with deference to that position. What has the obviousness of this fact gone?
