However, overall I agree - the trial is in the Senate. One thing to consider - Congress delegated it's fact-finding role to the OIC. It seems to me that since the OIC was "hired" to do all the fact finding, the only thing left for Congress to do is figure out how to word the articles. Then it's off to the Senate. That's why I so dislike the OIC statute. Congress has that responsibility, and it's remarkably cowardly to delegate it. <<carefully and with integrity examine Starr's report and the underlying evidence, and see which of Starr's claim's are well enough supported to send on. They could also examine their own views of what constitute impeachable offenses.>> Again, I agree completely. Also, again, why I don't like the OIC statute.
