*AV*--please refresh my memory on the Y2K stuff since I am drawing a blank there. As far as the Bear turning Bull, I rhink he has his Bull up his Bear _____. <GGG> Only fooling. We are in a dynamic situation right now and it is only right that people can change their minds since everything has a short term view and perspective of the market.

I am not getting too involved in these ripples and maybe I should. I am holding onto my end of second quarter 1999 recovery perspective even as the gurus have pushed their second half 1998 projections of recovery well into the latter portion of calendar 1999.

I think we are about to see the high PE big Board stocks get their come uppance and bring them down to more realistic levels. I think, selectively, we will see a flight to values within the beaten down stocks. I also would like to point out that Mutual Fund redemptions are extremely high with a $9 billion net outflow last month being reported. I do not see the good times rolling. what I see is a very large WARNING sign out in the market telling you to steer clear of hype, spam, scam, etc. and chase value and oversold conditions.
